Volunteering to miscellaneous
This is just a little bit of everything. I am wanting to volunteer for something in this lifetime but haven't found anything that really speaks to me. Right now I like the idea of a volunteer vacation - maybe somewhere counting turtles in the Caribbean or renovating a French farmhouse or something? Does anybody volunteer for an organization that makes their heart sing? All ideas would be greatly appreciated.
And another thought - I have a friend promoting an Alberta tour of a spiritual muscian. She's looking for venues in various locations south of Edmonton. She has secured Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. But I was thinking would there be a big enough interest in the High River area? The whos and the wheres are always a challenge. This would be in August of this year. I won't get into a bunch of detail but if anybody has any ideas or connections please let me know. Then I can hook you up with Shelly and explain a little more. His music is great - he has at least 6 CDs that I think would be great if you need some music for healing practices etc.
I am finishing up work at the Homestead Garden east of Nanton in the next week. Then I am off to High River starting June 2 to work in a Doctor's office. I've worked in the medical field but never in a Doctor's office before so what the heck. I'm looking forward to being in High River. The commute will be the biggest challenge. I hope to use the time to listen as I've asked now the answers are in the listening.
Enough miscellaneous for now. Here's to a sunshiny gardening week for everyone.
