Urges and Hunches
I have an exercise that I ask my clients to complete and still do it for myself because it's a great check in exercise. It's an exercise that reminds us to listen to our little voice. I have been training on a new job and it's surprising how often that little voice speaks up - like "that seems weird - should you follow up?" And when I ignored the little voice, I ended up making a mistake.
Here is the exercise:
Assume nothing that happens in your daily routine is accidental. Pay close attention to your dreams. Follow urges, honor hunches. This is from Sarah Ban Breathnach and the book Simple Abundance A Daybook of Comfort and Joy.
I have had dreams that I know were telling me something. I also know I am working in High River at the Doctor's office for a very specific reason. It will be revealed to me in time. I have had phone calls "out of the blue" from people that have heard me speak - not an accident. So my challenge is that you believe and trust in those urges and hunches because magic really can happen.
"A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before we changed." Earl Nightingale
