What are you creating these days?

I am gearing up to present my one-day workshop An Introduction to Living Creatively April 4th in High River.  To register just email programhrlibrary@highriver.net.  I am down to making sure things are timed right and running smoothly.  They say to teach is to learn twice and I couldn't agree more.  The beauty of The Artist's Way is that each time I read it I discover something new about myself.  How amazing is that - a book that keeps on giving!

What I'm trying to ponder at the same time is:  what next?  I am planning another My Life Blossoms Reunion in June that will look more like something I would offer at the Garden Retreat.  I know I've mentioned before that I don't know what that might be exactly - I'm open to suggestions and I know the inspiration will come along.

I have come up with my purpose and I plan to draw from my purpose in order to create any new courses.  Here is how my purpose looks right now.  I am on earth to help others live their lives with awareness and to ensure it is with justice.  Awareness awakens the passion to take care of themselves, know what matters to them and enable them to be strong enough to believe they deserve it.  And I do that by empowering people to be open to all possibilities through stillness and self care.  Do you know what your purpose is?  Why you are here this time around? Those of you who know me - would you agree this is an accurate purpose?  I welcome your feedback!

This purpose means helping people explore their creativity and themselves through a variety of avenues.  I know people have questions and things they would like to try but are hesitant to put themselves out there.  I want to help them find the courage to try.  I would love it if people would share with me what is on that list of things to try and do.  Let's get started on making that list happen!

Quotes
Doubt is most often the source of our powerlessness.  To doubt is to be faithless, to be without hope or belief.  When we doubt, our self-talk sounds like this:  'I don't think I can.  I don't think I will.' ... To doubt is to have faith in the worst possible outcome.  It is to believe in the perverseness of the universe, that even if I do well, something I don't know about will get in the way, sabotage me, or get me in the end.  Blaine Lee

You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call "failure" is not the falling down, but the staying down.  Mary Pickford
